On the Stability of a Market-Oriented Cloud Computing Model with Time-Varying Workloads

In this paper we carry out a stability analysis of a previously introduced market-oriented cloud computing model. We introduce a necessary condition for the asymptotic stability of the system, and provide a mathematical proposition that enables the use of passivity for the analysis of stability in this model. Moreover, we prove that the system is Input-to-State Stable and verify our theoretical results through simulations.
