Following the tradition established by two very successful symposia, the
third Windows NT Symposium continues to provide a forum for the
discussion of research and advanced engineering use of Windows NT. The
symposium brings together 400 professionals from academic and industrial
backgrounds who are actively involved in using or planning to use
Windows NT and want to discuss ideas and share information, experiences,
and results. The symposium will include technical presentations of refereed papers, invited talks, informal Demo/Poster and Birds-of-a-Feather sessions, and tutorials. While proceedings will be published, the primary purpose of the symposium is to facilitate two days of useful interaction among the participants. The symposium will be followed by a one-day, limited-attendance Advanced Research on Windows NT Workshop, where active researchers can share cutting-edge results and discuss the state of the art of Windows NTspecific research.
