Registration materials will be available for pickup in the Conference Center Lobby, Building 14, at the Clark Kerr Campus at the University of California, Berkeley, at the following dates and times:

INTERNET
If you are staying in one of the residence halls, wired connections will be available in your dorm room. There are no wireless connections available in the dorm rooms. Please be sure to bring your own Ethernet cable and to register your computer beforehand by going to https://www.rescomp.berkeley.edu/conferences. Here are the credentials you will need to use when registering:

PARKING PERMITS
If you purchased a parking permit during the registration process and you are staying in the residence halls, the permit is available for pick-up upon check-in to the residence hall.

If you purchased a parking permit and you are commuting every day to the workshop, the permit is available for pick-up at the USENIX registration desk.

POWER STATIONS

There will be two tables in the back of the Theatre with power strips available to charge your laptop. These stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited power supply and number of attendees, we ask that you restrict your time at the station to allow other attendees to access the service as well.

PROGRAM PACKAGE

Registration for the workshop and accommodations, including housing and dining services, are provided as a package with no reduction in price for late arrivals, early departures, or missed meals.

LODGING

USENIX has a block of rooms available for workshop attendees in the residence halls at the Clark Kerr Campus at the University of California, Berkeley. You will be able to make your reservation when you register for the workshop.

All accommodations are 2-bedroom suites with 1 shared bathroom. Each suite can accommodate up to 4 people.

Single room package: You will have 1 bedroom in the 2-bedroom suite. The other bedroom in the suite will be occupied by your suitemate(s) and you will share a bathroom.

Double room package: You will have 1 of 2 beds in 1 bedroom of the 2-bedroom suite. You will have a roommate and the other bedroom in the suite will be occupied by your suitemate(s). You will share a bathroom.

Each bed has an extra-long twin mattress and is made prior to arrival with a pillow, a pillowcase, sheets, a blanket, and a bedspread. Two towels, a face cloth, and a bar of soap are provided. Beds are made, rooms are cleaned, and towels are changed daily. Common areas and bathrooms in the residence halls are also cleaned daily.

ROOMMATES

If you select double occupancy, you will be able to enter a request for your preferred roommate. If you select single occupancy, you will be able to enter a request for your preferred suitemate(s). Please note that we cannot guarantee your request.

CHECK-OUT TIME: NOON

You must check out of your room and return the key to the front desk. If you do not return your key or you lose your key, you will be charged $75.

HOUSEKEEPING

You will have housekeeping service daily. Your bed will be made, your room will be cleaned, and your towels will be changed daily. Common areas and bathrooms in the residence halls are also cleaned daily.

IN-ROOM ETHERNET CONNECTIONS

Complimentary Internet connections in sleeping rooms are available for all USENIX attendees. All computers must be registered with Berkeley in order to access the Internet and you must provide your own Ethernet cable. If you did not register your computer in advance, there are print and email stations at the Front Desk in Building 1 where you can register your computer.

PARKING

Parking is available at the Clark Kerr campus. If you will need to park your car, parking permits are available for advance purchase during the registration process only. Permits are $14/day. Permits must be purchased in advance as they are not available for purchase when you arrive on-site at UC Berkeley. Please note that the street parking around campus is limited to 2 hours.

If you are not a member of USENIX, EurOpen.SE, NUUG, ACM SIGMETRICS, ACM SIGSOFT, ACM SIGOPS, ACM SIGARCH, and ACM SIGPLAN: $125 will be added to your registration fees.

Students who are not members of USENIX: $50 will be added to your registration fees.

EARLY ARRIVALS/LATE DEPARTURES

If you need to arrive prior to Wednesday, May 25, or depart after Friday, May 27, a limited number of single rooms are available via the registration system for $77/night. (If your selected date is not available, please contact conference@usenix.org to see if there is additional space.)

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

All refund requests must be emailed to conference@usenix.org by Thursday, May 19, 2011.
