Abstract
Solid Geometric Modeling is an important enabling technology in
Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing. Open, extensible
architectures which foster efficient construction and manipulation of
models are important to design engineers. We describe the architecture
of the cryph Solid Modeler, focusing on aspects of the design which
maximize flexibility and enable user-extensibility of primitive
modeling shapes.
