Abstract:

When I was working in Micronics Computers Inc, I had been testing NT beta before the first version come out. Testing mainly included compatibility and networking with the company system board design and the NT Operating System.

In MCI Telecommunications, I designed the NT network in Bay Area, California and help implement and port MCI applications in the NT network. Two major sites are San Francisco terminal and Hayward junction. Most of the previous application in MCI was in Mainframe 3270 and IBM OS/2 application. It is quite a challenge to port all the applications and do beta testing with the developers in MCI.

In Cisco, I manage the backbone and the UNIX servers and design/manage the NT network in Access Business Unit Engineering Lab. I have my own domain and like to maximize all the available features NT have and go toward what should be port to NT for Cisco Access Business Unit Engineering.

I want to explore more in NT development and administration along with WAN/LAN networking design.
