The main reason for my attendance to the workshop is to learn more about research on/with WindowsNT.

I am currently working at INRIA (the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation) on the PerDiS Esprit project, a Persistent Distributed Store for cooperative engineering applications (https://www.perdis.esprit.ec.org/).

Our project involves several industrial partners (cad/engineering applications for building enterprise) and sponsors, which are pushing us to embrace WindowsNT, due to its large market acceptance.

Our research background is mainly Unix oriented, but we are very much interested in learning more about WindowsNT and how it could help us to support and deploy our research activities.
