I am a developer of the Symbio project within the NT Cluster group at NCSA. Briefly, Symbio is a distributed computing management system which coordinates/monitors a parallel computing environment built on top of a cluster of Windows NT machines. It's architecture is based on DCOM. The development package assumes minimal familiarity with DCOM - wrapping much of the functionality within the class libraries. Symbio can also be used to scavenge unused CPU cycles on machines which are distributed across an NT Domain. Complete information is available on our web site.
