We are just starting to deploy windows NT machines on the network in Engineering for Corporate Applications as well as desktop development stations. My research into NT is just beginning to explore the security issues relating to such a deployment, as the NT systems have to be secured similar to the Unix machines. The other issue at hand is the inter-operability issue between NT and Unix as well as the sharing of resources such as filesystems from the Unix server and other resources that have traditionally been available only on a Unix host.
