2016 USENIX Board of Directors Election Results
On February 8, 2016, we sent out 1,845 ballots to those members eligible to vote in the election of the USENIX Board of Directors as of January 29, 2016. We received 214 legal ballots, for a response rate of 11%.
The results of the election are:

President, Carolyn Rowland: 196 for, 14 abstained
Vice President, Hakim Weatherspoon: 193 for, 16 abstained
Secretary, Michael Bailey: 192 for, 18 abstained
Treasurer, Kurt Opsahl: 195 for, 15 abstained
Directors
Cat Allman: 170 votes
John Arrasjid: 127 votes
David N. Blank-Edelman: 169 votes
Angela Demke Brown: 170 votes
Daniel V. Klein: 147 votes
The new Board, consisting of Carolyn Rowland (President), Hakim Weatherspoon (Vice President), Michael Bailey (Secretary), Kurt Opsahl (Treasurer), Cat Allman, David N. Blank-Edelman, Angela Demke Brown, and Daniel V. Klein, will assume office at the conclusion of the June Board of Directors meeting, which will take place immediately before the 2016 USENIX Annual Technical Conference in Denver, CO, June 22-24, 2016.
The Association would like to thank outgoing directors Brian Noble (President) and John Arrasjid (Vice President) for their respective eight and six years of service.
