Student Grants for Conference Attendance, Sponsored by Google
A limited number of student grants are available to pay for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to enable full-time students to attend the conference. To apply for a grant, see the USENIX student grant Web page. Applications are due by Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Sorry, faxes will not be accepted for student grant applications.
FAST '17 Grants for Women, Sponsored by Google and VMware
As part of its ongoing commitment to encourage women to excel in this field, we are pleased to announce the FAST '17 Grants for Women, to support female computer scientists interested in attending the 14th USENIX Conference on File and Storage Technologies. All computer scientists from academia or industry who identify as female are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
Four women will be selected from the applicants to receive $700 US to apply toward travel/accommodation costs.
Eligibility:
- Identify as female working in or studying Computer Science or a related field
- Attend at least two full days of the main conference technical sessions
- Agree to being contacted by Sponsors about future events and opportunities
