Melody Hildebrandt is the Global Chief Information Security Officer at 21st Century Fox. In this capacity she is responsible for the cyber security posture of 21CF businesses including 20th Century Fox, Fox Networks Group, National Geographic Partners, Fox News, Star India and others.
Before joining 21CF, she was an executive vice president of Palantir Technologies. An early employee of the company, she was instrumental in opening and growing the company's commercial business and running its New York operations. She led Palantir’s work in cyber security, anti money laundering, and regulatory response.
Prior to that, she consulted to US and international governments with Booz Allen Hamilton where she designed military and strategy wargames. She also previously worked with the French Ministry of Education while living in France, where she also studied. She is the founder of Transcapitalist, a blog that explored the intersection of technology and free market mechanisms.
