Steve Weis

Steve Weis is a software engineer on the Facebook Security Infrastructure team, where he focuses on securing people's data with applied cryptography. His past work includes building PGP support for Facebook, Google's 2-step verification, and the Keyczar cryptographic library. Previously, Steve co-founded a security startup, PrivateCore, which was acquired by Facebook, worked on Google's applied security team, and earned a PhD in computer science from MIT.
