ICAC '13 Call for Posters and Demos
Posters and Demonstrations
ICAC '13 will feature a poster and demonstration session consisting of research prototypes and technology artifacts that demonstrate autonomic software or autonomic computing principles.
Posters provide a forum for authors to present their work in an informal and interactive setting. They allow authors and interested participants to connect to each other and to engage in discussions about the work presented. Poster submissions should briefly summarize the work to be presented motivating its relevance to the autonomic computing community and providing pointers to further information and related work.
Demonstrations present an existing tool or research prototype clearly identifying the novelty of the ideas demonstrated. Authors are expected to perform a live demonstration on their own laptop during the poster and demonstration session. Demonstration submissions must describe the goals of the demonstration and key ideas involved in building the tool or prototype including possible use cases or specific results to be presented as part of the demo.
Both poster and demonstration submissions are limited to 2 pages in PDF or text format. The submissions should be clearly marked in the text as "Poster" / "Demonstration". Poster and demonstration proposals should be submitted via a separate Web submission form.
Important Dates
- Posters/demonstrations submissions due: March 18, 2013, 11:59 p.m. PDT
- Notification to authors: April 15, 2013
