Information Security War Room
Sergey Bratus, Dartmouth College, and Felix "FX" Lindner, Recurity Labs, WOOT ’14 Program Co-Chairs
Since the dawn of computing, we've been fighting a war. In this war for computers we could finally trust, our tactical window of options is rapidly shrinking. This war room session discusses some options we could have exercised that are no longer available to us, some ongoing and upcoming battles, and the few options still available to us. We start with assessing the theaters of international policy, legislation, and the power structures of trust. We then address the basic computational realities of information security. We invite you to join the discussion.
