Why should you stay in the headquarters hotel?
Given the current economic situation, it is more important than ever that you stay in the conference hotel. It is by contracting sleeping rooms that we can significantly reduce hotel charges for meeting room rental.
When the sleeping rooms are not utilized, we face significant financial penalties. As a result, these penalties ultimately force us to raise registration fees and reduce amenities.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
You can also take BART from both airports and get off at Ashby BART station and take a taxi from there to the hotel. BART operates between OAK and the BART Coliseum/Oakland Airport station daily, there is a single shuttle stop for both terminals, conveniently located between Terminal 1 and 2 at OAK's third curbside.
SFO BART Station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal (Boarding Area G side). BART is easily accessed from any terminal by riding SFO's AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop. BART arrives approximately every 10 minutes, until midnight. Service begins at 5:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays and holidays.

Driving Directions
From CA-24 West, merge onto CA-13 North toward Berkeley. Continue on CA-13 North for about 1.3 miles. Turn right into the Claremont Resort and Spa, 41 Tunnel Road, Berkeley, CA.
From 80 East (Bay Bridge), merge onto I-80 East via the ramp on the left toward Oakland.
Merge onto 580 East toward CA-24/Hayward-Stockton. Merge onto CA-24 East toward Walnut Creek. Take the Claremont Avenue exit. Turn left onto Claremont Avenue. Turn right onto Ashby Ave/CA-13. Continue to follow CA-13. Turn left into the Claremont Resort and Spa, 41 Tunnel Road, Berkeley, CA.

Parking
USENIX has worked with the Claremont Resort & Spa to reduce the parking fee to $12.00 per day, plus any applicable taxes, for overnight and day parking guests. The overnight fees include valet service and unlimited in and out privileges. You must mention USENIX to get the special rate.
