The HotCloud '12 Poster Session will provide an opportunity to present early-stage work and receive feedback from the community. The Program Chairs have automatically granted every accepted paper a poster slot, as a way to provide more in-depth conversations between authors and the audience. The Poster Session will be held in conjunction with the FCW Welcome Reception: please join us for refreshments.
There is a separate submission process for posters, through the Web submission form. All poster submissions must be submitted in PDF via the Web submission form.
Poster submission deadline: 25 May 2012, 8:59 p.m. PDT
Notification of acceptance: 1 June 2012
A poster submission should be in the form of an extended abstract, not exceeding 2 pages, describing the research idea. The submission should include any figures or graphs the authors intend to include in the final version of the poster.
Topics must fall within the scope of the HotCloud '12 Call for Papers; submissions will be judged on the novelty and insightfulness of the work described, as well as the quality of the draft poster itself. Thought-provoking or controversial work, approaches, or ideas are particularly encouraged. We encourage submissions that represent early work that is not yet ready for submission to a refereed conference or journal. Student and industry submissions meeting these criteria are particularly welcome.
The final version of the extended abstract, along with the final poster (if provided by the authors) will be mounted on the workshop Web site.
