The Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate (the R&D arm) is in the process of eliciting input from the community to shape research funding in the future. They are calling this effort the "National Conversation". S&T's Cyber Security Division (CSD) is seeking inputs from security researchers under the subtitle, "A Trusted Cyber Future". These inputs will be synthesized and used to first rewrite the federal R&D plan and then the HSARPA R&D plan. These plans directly guide how the government's limited research dollars are applied. Find out more about the "National Conversation" online here: http://scitech.ideascale.com/a/ideas/top/campaign-filter/byids/campaigns/60711.
