Scheduling a BoF

To schedule a BoF, simply write the BoF title as well as your name and affiliation on the BoF Board located in the registration area. If you have a description of your BoF that you'd like posted on this Web page, please schedule your BoF on the BoF board, then send the title, the organizer's name and affiliation, and the date, time, and location of the BoF to bofs@usenix.org with "SEC '15 BoF" in the subject line.

A Trusted Cyber Future: Round Table Discussion and Community Collaboration on the Future of DHS R&D Funding

The Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate (the R&D arm) is in the process of eliciting input from the community to shape research funding in the future. They are calling this effort the "National Conversation". S&T's Cyber Security Division (CSD) is seeking inputs from security researchers under the subtitle, "A Trusted Cyber Future". These inputs will be synthesized and used to first rewrite the federal R&D plan and then the HSARPA R&D plan. These plans directly guide how the government's limited research dollars are applied.
