The Internet Society is a nonprofit organization that provides leadership in Internet related standardseducation and policy. The Deploy360 Programme bridges the gap between the IETF standards process and final adoption of those standards by the global operations community. The ION Conference series brings network engineers and leading industry experts together to discuss emerging technologies.

On Tuesday, December 11, the Internet Society is co-locating its ION Conference with LISA '12.

ION San Diego will feature high-level discussions related to IPv6 and DNSSEC for systems administrators, engineers, and network administrators from Web operations, DevOps, enterprise computing, educational computing, and research computing. The Internet Society’s goal is to make the IETF standards implementation process user-friendly. The FREE ION Conferences provide the platform for thought leaders to impart their deployment know-how with those that need to know how-to.
