Training
A limited number of tutorial seats are reserved for full-time students at the very special rate of $200 per day. This special fee is not transferable. Your current student ID must be validated before registering. Please sign in to your account or register for an account to upload your student ID for validation.
Technical Sessions
Full-time students may attend technical sessions for only $150 per day. This special fee is not transferable. Your current student ID must be validated before registering. Please sign in to your account or register for an account to upload your student ID for validation.
Student Grants for Conference Attendance
A limited number of student grants are available to pay for travel, accommodations, and registration fees to enable full-time students to attend the conference. To apply for a grant, see the USENIX student grant Web page. Applications are due by Monday, November 5, 2012. Sorry, faxes will not be accepted for student grant applications.
LISA '12 Grants for Women, Sponsored by Google
As part of its ongoing commitment to encourage women to excel in this field, we are pleased to announce the LISA '12 Grants for Women, sponsored by Google to support female computer scientists interested in attending the 26th Large Installation System Administration Conference. All female computer scientists from academia or industry are encouraged to apply.
Five women will be selected from the applicants to receive $700 US to apply toward travel/accommodation costs.
Eligibility:
- Be a female working in or studying Computer Science or a related field
- Attend at least two full days of the main conference technical sessions
- Agree to being contacted by Google about future events and opportunities
