She is a certified trainer for their internal SGML/XML authoring tool. Janice also worked as a technical editor at Ashton-Tate and at Scitex Corporation. She has presented papers at several technical communication conferences and was the project lead for the popular editorial style guide Read Me First! A Style Guide for the Computer Industry.
